A beautiful picture of this sunset with the sun just about to descend behind the trees on the far shore a golden sunbeam is crossing the lake & bathing the sky with a golden hue that is reflected on the gleaming lake. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Wonderful initial impression: This is such a warm and dreamy sunset, very soothing to view, I love the warm amber gold tones, the placement of the tree line separating sky from water, with 1/3 space for the sky and 2/3 space for the water, beautiful sunset reflecting on the calm lake. This is of course, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well handled, the colors and tones are beautiful, well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in the contest!

This is a pretty sunset and I love how you caught the sun just before it dipped below the horizon. Good reflections in the water. I like the shoreline in the lower right. The only thing I would do is clone out the spot that is in the upper right hand area. Good luck in the contest.
