I have never had much success shooting through windows which are all double paned nowadays. This shot is well composed and shows fine colors but is somewhat lacking in detail. I'll blame it on the windows. Best of luck in the contest.

A beautiful picture of this pair of American Goldfinches in their winter plumage feasting on the Nijer Seeds in the feeder on either side of it. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.
