A beautiful close up of this
juvenile waxwing. What a uniquely colored and beautiful bird.
I love the soft colors in the background that add depth and beauty to this image.
The markings on its face are so clear and appealing to see. I don't think I've seen this bird at this view before.
What a wonderful treat to learn of a different beauty.

Excellent everything about this photo: the colors are awesome with grayish sky and yellow leaves. Excellent artist notes. The notes actually made me to notice the yellow tipped tail. Fantastic soft feathers, and soft background. I wish I had 6*s left for this one. Great job, GRACE!

Hi Lucas! Thank you very much for your nice comments! The yellow tips are a little tough to see with all the yellow leaves :)

These are such pretty birds! I don't think I have seen a juvinile waxwing before . I love the crest on their heads! We have Bohemian Waxwings here. This is well photographed in this natural setting, well focused, the image is clear, exposure is good, colors and tones appear natural. I I love the fluffy feathers as compared to the adult Bohemians that are so sleek! Well presented!

Thank you! I really like these birds too. The adults have such nice colors and that smooth waxy looking texture to their feathers. I have not seen the Bohemian in person and this was the first time I ever saw the Cedar juveniles!

Quite a nice bird shot presented here! Was it a cold day that it seems so puffed up? Your fine composition allows us an enjoyable look at your bird and it's environment. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!
