You painted beach pebbles are gorgeous. They look so realistic. It's as if they came that way. More like a precious stone. The color and pattern in this one is stunning. Wonderful use of color and movement.

You created a lovely work of art with this beach pebble! The colors you chose work very well together to make a lovely abstract pattern. Very well done!

I can see from this shot that the texture that I assumed was the paint profile might well be intrinsic to the stone. A very nice abstract pattern with great colors.

I like this series more which has a more defined color & backdrop texture.

Looks great in square format.
I like the ovoid shape--a visual journey...

Please get rid of the distracting reflection, my friend as it washed out the features...

Sharply focused.
Simple backdrop pops out subject nicely...
Thanks for sharing...

This is an interesting shot. The colours, textures and the worm-like blue shapes make it an interesting viewing. Fine composition, soft colours and very good light makes this first rate.!

Suzanne,
A beautiful painted pebble that would if small enough make a beautiful brooch to attach to the lapel of a dark coloured coat. Makes me think of looking down into a fast flowing stream with little minnows darting this way & that the light on their silvery scales & fins giving us flashes of silvery blue. Created with your artist's eye for composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
Susan

Of course, the colors are wonderful as always. I find this one intriguing with the light blue markings around the edge and in the center framing the golden markings.

What a beautiful rock! I live the technique you used to swirl the colors around.
It all most looks earth from the sky.
Good luck in the contest!

Just such a beautiful variety of colors here and it has a beautiful shine to it! The gold really pops out from the blues and blue green tones, I actually see a face light oking oyt at me and I'm thinking it is a sea creature of some type. This is very pretty and always so much fun to look for objects in your work! Well presented!
