A beautiful picture of these deer taking a rest in the long grass their ears pricked to pick up any signs of danger while they are watching you out of the corner of their eyes. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

What a beautiful sight! two Bambi's resting together on the grass, they seem quite relaxed and content and as you state, unconcerned that you are nearby. This is well focused, the image is clear, well controlled exposure , the colors and tones are natural. Both of these precious babies show good detail , both are so beautiful! Thank you for the great review! They are quite used to us,we have been putting corn(and alfalfa in the winter)out for them twice a day;often they will show up and just lay around waiting for my husband to put the food out,then they get up and follow him!

It is amazing how docile deer have become in the past 20 years or so. A beautiful shot that is well composed and quite sharp. The colors are great and the perspective is excellent.
