Good overall photo of this place Steve.the steam is just about right in this,i would have been tempted to crop the bottom in this,but it does show the lay out of this place so would leave it...Brian

A beautiful shot that is well composed and shows the detail of the spring very well. It looks almost as if it might have been shot on an alien planet. Great colors and a very good capture of the mists over the spring.

A wonderful picture of the Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellow Stone with the steam rising from the water flowing up from the "Hot Spring" boiling below ground the colour of the micro organisms determined by the temperature of the water coming up, the hotter the Spring the bluer the surface will appear. The Tree covered hill mountain rising up on the far side framing the steam between them & the coloured ground in the foreground. Beautiful & somewhat mysterious composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
