Oh my a heart warming shot with Amelia and her new puppy. Your exposure on this shot is perfect along with your white balance. Great timing get her looking at her new puppy as he stares back at her. The falling leaves just another great touch to your photography. Very well photographed with spectacular lighting, sharp focus, and good details and clarity throughout your photography. Lori what a beautiful image for this contest. Is this your granddaughter? The expression you have captured on her face and that of her puppy is priceless. You can really see the glimmer in its gorgeous blue eye. I love the light and the falling leaves which really make this a remarkable autumn capture.

This is a very good photo taken with excellent skills. Very good focus details, colors and composition. My only slight issue is the face of the little girl. Would have preferred to see more visible. Other than that excellent post processing. Thanks for sharing.

I love the puppy and the girl is great too. This perspective favors the dog and I like that. Exposure for the black fur is great but I think the background should stay in the back and those two copies of that leaf fight for attention and thereby detract from the total impact.
