Oh what a beautiful capture of this mother and baby eagle.
The clarity and details are excellent and what an unusual place to see a nest. At least for
Me. What I love is the expression on the chick, the way it looks at its mom. Beautiful image and a real pleasure to see.

Hi Pat, I love the expression of the chick! It looks like he's saying "Ok where is my dinner?" I guess he doesn't realize it's right under his nose! LOL You have nice crisp focus and lovely lighting, but what makes this image special are the birds and their expressions! I love it! :o) Nancy

It seems that those smart birds can and will build their nest anywhere if a tree is amiss, even on the most unlikely places. This is a beautiful family photo. The adult looks as if she is teaching the youngster something. I see the dead bird. I guess mom just brought food for her baby. The photo is well focused. It is through sharp. The close framing emphasizes the birds. I also appreciate the realistic colors.

A beautiful picture of the female Bald Eagle & her fledgling not yet ready to fly the nest. Mother guarding the prey she has between her talons in among the sticks that make up the nest. Is the Ship tie a "Mooring Post" that a ship is tied to when it's in harbour? Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

It must have been a sibling. Only time I ever saw an eagle attack another bird (except to try to steal its fish) was in my yard where an eagle took a sandhill crane. A beautiful shot even if the background seems a little odd.

One thing that amazes me is the bald eagle, we don't see them around here where I live except in a zoo or I have never seen one yet but I would love to. This is a fantastic photo of these two, I really like how the little one is looking up at Mom and thanking her for its meal. Once again thanks for sharing and keep up the great work. JackJr.
