I like that you captured the scene without many people. It helps to make the lovely architecture the star of the show. The green hill in the background adds just a nice splash of color and the curved road emphasizes depth nicely.

I absolutely love this photo. Great composition and perspective. The angle you have taken this at is very pleasing to look at. I just love the old stone buildings and the green hills off in the distance....thanks for sharing!

A nice scene of a typical English Country village. Looks quiet perhaps a Sunday and the strollers are on their way to the local pub. Nice petspective. Hills in background give depth. The close up of the buildings at left tapering to smaller on the curved road is excellent. The older architecture of the various buildings comes through clear. I like that the sky is a typical English grey. It adds to the overall colour pallet giving it the right hue. Nice shot.

I like the angle you used for this shot of the tranquil village scene in Castleton, with the road inviting the viewer to stroll along, maybe calling into the hotel on the left for a spot of lunch before venturing further afield into the distant hills. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice crisp image with great detail in the stonework of the buildings. Very nice composition. Suzanne

Nikman - You have shown depth and perspective in the composition of this image. The road has been used as a gentle leading line thus taking the viewer from the foreground to the background on a journey through your image. With the inclusion of the people you have added interest, the 3 menu / sandwich boards on the pavement are a good example of "the rule of odds" yes there is such a thing (more visually appealing when there is an odd number of subjects) More info here: http://compositionstudy.com/rule-of-odds/ Good texture shown in the buildings, image is nice and sharp and has been exposed well

You have achieved a wonderful perspective. I like your use of lines a very powerful method of improving your composition. Your framing is good and accentuates your photography. Your angel of your shot and depth of field make this a well composed photo. Very beautiful capture of the village and nice vanishing view point. Outstanding work and wonderful artistic composition. I love this!

Really super photo, Nikman. I like the perspective allowing us to see almost the whole street and well as the gentle hills in the distance. Gives the viewer a sense of feel about the village. My only disappointment was that I was hungry and I just can't quite read the menus.

A beautiful photo of interesting perspective. Everything is so sharp and clear. Lovely muted colors and charming architecture. Makes me wish I were right there walking with them!
