Very nice illustration with good color and detail My American base makes me prefer Lady Bugs. This is a fun and interesting piece. You cheated since she asked for 3 and you actually gave her 4. Looks like there could be more in the future:-)). This could work well in a child's book as an illustration. Well seen.

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this collection of painted sketches of Ladybird Beetles.
I could have given Ena several more but choose to stop with the two most common ones in Ireland, the Two & Seven Spot varities & the Red with Black Spots. She also asked for Bees & Bumble Bees which I found more of a challenge in getting the wings to look transparent & iridescent ..I won't be posting those!!

Wow Susan.. Iam impressed. I did not know you could paint. I Truly cannot draw a stick man. I like how there are three different scenes here with each a unique view of the ladybugs. I am sure Ena is More than pleased with your work here Susan. Well done ~ Steve

Thanks a million for your complementary review on these Ladybirds. I'm having some difficulty with the Bees that I also have to paint they are more compleicated...drawing is one thing getting the colours right another.
