great selection of photos susan. your work is always of a great quality, and these particular images are better than a moving film. my step father has a bird bath but not spotted any doing so. but very nice to share this delightful bird, taking a short, sharp bath.

Thanks a million for your complementary review on this little hen Sparrow bathing in the Cake Tin.
While the Sparrow along with the Robin is the most recognised British Bird in fact I read the Wren, is more numerous though it's less often seen as it creeps along the ground & flits in & out of the bushes & is said to be more often heard than seen.

A nice collection of images showing the lady sparrow at bath time, good action stop, I love the one with the water splashes in the top right corner. They really get to moving around at bath time. They are so thankful that you provide food and a place to bathe . This is well arranged to tell this story, well presented!

a good close up of the six different pics of a house sparrow taking a bath in your bowl; good lighting and focus;
unfortunately, the large blurred black square in the center is very unpleasant.
