What a very nice photo. I'm usually not a fan of bird pics, but you really caught a great photo here. The bird is not the usual Robin, or mallard. I dont know what this long legged guy is, but you dont seem to be bothering him. It's a perfect display of his markings and colors, with great definition, even though his surroundings are of similar colors. The reflection is such an added plus. Great job.

Beautiful gray heron stands among the wonderful autumn colors at the edge of the lake, his perfect reflection on the water underneath him. The colors are so pretty! This is well photographed with perfect focus, the image is clear to view, exposure is well managed, nice detail is easily seen in feathers! Face and bill! Good eye contact! Well composed in this natural setting, well presented and a pleasure to view!

Nice clear shot of the heron on the shoreline. Very sharp focus on the bird with plenty of detail. Well controlled light, good DoF. I think it is cropped a bit tight on the bottom and would have preferred a little more room below the reflection. The reflection is well captured. Thank you for sharing.

o tell the truth, I prefer just the top, without the reflection. I think because off the business of the background and the slight ripple in the water. But, that is my personal reaction. A lovely capture of a beautiful bird and no mistaking the season.

This is a beautiful capture. Love all the autumn reds and yellows. The Heron having the blue-grey
