Thanks so much! That is a low tide with a tide pool closer to the foreground, it?s a mixture of glacier silt and ice beyond that . I appreciate your comments and suggestions!

Pat,
A beautiful picture of the Turnagain arm of Cook Inlet as the sun was setting & while it does colouring the clouds floating over the snow capped mountains in the background, these beautiful colours reflected on to the water's in the inlet that are not Ince covered. Beautiful composition framing lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Very pleasant shot of the lake, sky and mountains. Almost pastel in nature. I like the reflection of the sky in the waters. Good colors. Well shaped and captured mountains. Nicely seen and well shot.

Looks as if dusk is developing early over there! Your fine and classical composition offers us a lovely look at your gorgeous location. The colours and tones are nice. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

Beautiful blue and pink it is, Pat. That is a wonderful scene. Just love the way the sky is reflected in the water. That's two pinks for the price of one. We may have stopped at that very turnout.

Thanks so much Robert! This area is kind of dangerous now because since the earthquake, rocks have been falling from the cliffs on the opposite side of the road.
