A beautiful snow scene with a Cottage & what I think maybe a bare branched Apple tree with heavy snow falling from the snow heavy clouds above. Beautiful composition, created by your very skilful brushwork & digital editing techniques & the addition of the Pastel snow flakes giving them a three dimensional appearance, beautiful choice, blending & application of your colours in bring this scene to life. A beautiful snow scene with a Cottage & what I think maybe a bare branched Apple tree with heavy snow falling from the snow heavy clouds above. I am a bit confused when I look at this picture. The white looks more like water than snow. I like the single tree next to what I think is a cabin. I know you want to use a lot of white to fit the contest, but snow flakes might have been better. I'm sorry I'm so confused.

A painting that has photographic feel or vice versa!
Diffused focusing of a 3- dimensional presentation.
Literally a cool creation.
Wish it's whiter to get the voters' nod at the poll booth!
But I know these guys are unpredictable!

Alaska, my favourite viewing is travel channel and at the moment it is Alaska which is getting the most hours. They have just gone into winter, and the snows are thick and heavy. They have eight months of dark winter. Heaven I think, you could stay indoors and not even pretend to socialise. The snow would also fall on the tree and cover the branches etc and leave only a thin line underneath. I lived in Canada once, and used to go OUT in the snow, loved it. /I am not a cold person, as I do not use CH a lot/

That's an interesting 'Winter Themed' painting,my friend!
It could easily be an illustration of some dark corner of the Leningrad Front in the northern sector of the Soviet Union during World War Two!
