A wonderful profile portrait of this magnificent Eagle with it's golden eye watching you & that buttercup yellow hooked beak ready to deal with it's next prey & meal. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This impressive bird made me think of the prehistoric Teratorns with their large heavy beaks and their large four meter ( and bigger! ) wingspans!

Shame its not real,but putting that aside it is a fine portrait of this bird with clear markings on it,a tad bit of light falling on its beak which does lack detail on it,but other than that a good one...Brian

A beautiful bird that appears to be some kind of tropical raptor. I like the profile view and the great colors. The eye is well shown and the detail in the plumage is excellent. Best of luck in the contest.

It does appear the bird is deep in thought..must be thinking about an old mate..wink.lol. the clarity is great. The angle of the shot of this bird facial is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall
