A beautiful stop action picture of this power boat showing the Captain in the Cockpit as he heads out across the the lake at speed. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

a very good entry to the action contest; you had two options for such shots: You chose a close up of the boat head and pilot; I think for an action shot, I would present the whole boat with the wake behind; just me;

This composition almost works. The angle of the boat,I feel-parallel with the water-keeps it from being a five star work. Colors and the yellow helmet,in contrast with the blues, the red, and, the white, work perfectly. Place the boat at an angle and let's see how that works.

A very sharp image with great colors. While the boat is no doubt speeding along for all the viewer knows from the picture it might be anchored. I think the impression of speed would be much more obvious if you included the wake behind the boat.
