beautiful drawing of mermaid and sea horse. In one of the many adventure underwater programs I watched, they showed a real sea horse. They are very colourful and small. I didn't know t hat mermaids were part of Indian cultural norms, but I suppose the English were there for hundreds of years, so things would have slid both ways, as we have verandas as well as mountains of goods stolen from India. We learnt at school they had parties in which they would show off what they had stolen from India. Reminds me when I was living in Pakistan, the rich ladies had toilet parties, where they showed off their new European toilet and bathrooms. I was just ever so slightly amuses, as well as relieved. Superb drawing, if I had any six left I would give it.

Excellent work, my friend! So different than the colorful masterpieces we have come to expect from you, but just as beautiful in its own way. So much detail in her hair and tail, this deserves more than 6 stars. Well done! (nice poem to accompany it too)

This is a beautiful drawing. I love the positioning of the mermaid who has a sea horse in her grasp. She is well drawn and the design is well thought out. Shading is excellent.
