A beautiful picture of this smiling Snowman his heart beating on his chest beside his colourful scarf, his head topped with a Santa hat. For trees growing on the mountainside behind him snow falling against the blu4r sky. Created by your artist's eye for composition, very skilful brushwork beautiful choice blending & application of your colours in bringing this scene & snowman to life. Happy Christmas.

I find this a truly interesting comment on the season because you are an Indian, though a well travelled Indian. Maybe because of climate change, or I don't know what, this is really Scandanavian, or German and as Christmas was before the Winter Festival, putting candel lights on the dark trees, before the time of wide spread electricity, till the priests decided to interchange festivals to fool the people , it is interesting. I suppose it is a scene often seen in Canada, /where I once lived and saw REAL lots of snow/ and north America so it is a truly international happy scene. If I knew my heavens better I could hazard a guess at what part of the world it is in. Incidentally, the only place where I have seen a snowman was at my Beijing College. Chinese students are very young in behavioiur and well behaved, when in China. Here they are beginning to imitate the sophisticated english students, sadly!

I lived in Germany for a couple of years decades ago . It was them West Germany. I went to a German school to learn German down in South Germany where it was -30C. That was the first time in my life I saw snow! The lakes were frozen and it was a problem to walk on the slippery pavements. So I am quite aware of the Winter conditions and framnkly speaking I don't like that season at all except for the fact that there is Christmas and New Year festivities which I love! many thanks for your time and nice review. I appreciate it.

typo-- candle...blimey, fancy that... although I already have some young Indian friends at Passau University, Bavaria, where I am moving in the New Year, it is a sort of coincidence, we with Indian family and you learning German. I always imagine Indians going to their mother country, England. One of my young Indian friends at Passau University, is hoping to start a sort of school and something to do with computers-colony in Nepal when he qualifies, he and some friends in Calcutta. He was so excited about it all when he told me last month whilst I was visiting to check my future home out, that I have promised him, I will come and teach there for free over the 3 winter months, as long as they get me food and somewhere clean to sleep, and the three months fits in well with the visas as well as the coldest weather in Bavaria.. He was very happy and I am too, as I miss group teaching very much /as I give tuition to ethnic minorities from Asia and Africa/ and was even considered going to India to teach for 3 months at a time, but the Indians are rich now..

This is a really cute Christmas or Holiday Greeting. I like the big smile on the snowman very much. The snow covered landscape behind the snowman those many snowflakes falling down on it are a pleasant view. The Panorama framing works well for this composition.
