I find the simplicity of the quite and solitude of this lone snail resting on the Green leaf to be inviting. I like the white shell surrounded by the green with fine textures and details.

Stunning. Brilliant. Great greens. Super white shell I so love. Love your treatment on this whole picture. There is a lot to see if one takes their time. Digital art never ceases to amaze me. This work is no exception. The subtle greens of the leaves naturally accent the bold whites of the snail shell, giving the entire work a nice bit of drama. very well done and I wish you all the best in the contest ~ Steve

Excellent choice of a lowly subject but given an aesthetic presentation.
Verdant backdrop pops out snail nicely.
Palpable impasto strokes creates a 3-dimensional effect.
Visually soothing image.

The snail in this work is well done;however,the leaves are too similar in color and intensity. The background leaf,with the purplish black, should,also, show more gradation in tone.

Thank you for your critical review. I painted the leaves in their natural condition. They do not show much texture or graduation of color in reality. Furthermore the are just there to emphasize the snail, but I will think about if the leaves could be enhanced in some way without taking attention from the snail.
