Beautifully written poem to accompany this image, it's very profound! This is a wonderful sunset scene, the sun has set , sending up the vivid orange tone across the horizon, the warm gold tones and then more of the vivid orange , rising up to the dark clouds that are moving diagonaly across the sky with the pale gray at the top right. The water is reflecting the deep blue , gold and red. A lone surfer with his board in silhouette against this beautiful sunset.this is of course, well focused, the image is clear, exposure / light handling are well managed. This is well composed with good placement of the surfer in frame. Well presented! Thank you for sharing this and the poem! Merry Christmas to you!

I love this one and the fact the person is looking to the sea is the icing on the cake,appears a touch grainy but think that adds to this,my only thought steve,is to crop a tad of the left,but still giving six anyway,full marks for this...Brian
