Oh yes, it is easy to see why this won first place. Nice focal point set within a beautiful picture perfect winter scene. Taking a break from repair work and thought I would check in. Glad I did. Reason for my six star vore.

A Very nice capture. I like the softness of the image and the mood in which it is shown. The sharpness is great and the lights on the bright add so much beauty. Very well captured.

This is beyond Beautiful. Your capture looks like a Thomas Kincade painting. The angle makes one feel that they are there in the photo. I may have to hit you up for tips of living in Alaska. I have lived in California my whole life. Right now our State governor is crazy. He want to tax water. Communist California is not like it was when I was growing up. I just saw this in the voting booth for "Photograph of the Month". I think it's simply beautiful! AS I looked at all the entries this image stood out beyond anything there. I voted for it! The sky is a lovely shade of blue and the snow leading to the covered bridge looks so inviting. Is the light on the snow from vehicle headlights? It is flattering to the scene.

I love the effect of light on the snow and snow covered trees. The blue sku wonderfully shows off the snow and the distant covrred bridge! . The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

You could literally go round your area, take lots of photographs and send them to Christmas card makers for sale!! No fancy changing or anything. You have the environment you need for them all around you. Gorgeous scene, as all yours are, but I am trying to review it from an artists view point as I always do and that road leads the eye right into the picture. Brilliant.

photos that have been thought out as this one, or provoke thought, are special, otherwise a photographer is like me with my mobile, -- I see that, I like that, I point my mobile at that and click.. It is one of the reasons I have problems reviewing technological art work.. as I feel from the results many people are practicing with it and hit on an accidental good shot, rather than deliberately having set out to produce an effect, which is ok but to me, that is less about skill in use than good luck. I don't use it myself, so find it difficult to gauge! You have a beautiful environment, but this one is a perfect example of 'eye-skill.'
