people with pets have an extra outlet for their artistic ability, as pets can be a delight to paint, with their own particular little foibles. You have caught this little dog's particular ''hair style'' very well, giving it a character of its own. I generally avoid portraits of family and favourite pets unless there is something more than portraiture in it, and this dog's fur as it loops about is real fun.

What big eyes she has! So cute. You did a great job for your 1st. Loving the highlights and lowlights on her fur. I pay a lot of money to have mine that color. I like the unique placement. Well done.
