I like how you decided to focus on the front layers of the petals. I think the layering is the most interesting part of roses. The light highlights the yellow color well and the dark background works nicely in accentuating the color and light.

A beautiful yellow rose that looks great against the dark background. The texture in the petals is excellent and it seems to glow with a light of its own.

A very pretty yellow rose at that. I like the layers you can see the petals not just a single rose if that makes sense. The lighting is good, I like it on the dark background. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Nice selective focus, this looks like a fully opened yellow rose, I can see the velvety texture of the petals, I like the way the light plays upon this lovely rose. I like this angle of shot allowing a view of its profile. This is well placed in the frame and the dark background pushes it forward for a good look. I can imagine it's fragrabce. Well presented!

Perfect capture of interesting petal formation. Love the light on those petals creating highlights and varying degrees of shadow displaying superb contours. The background is so subdued it is an asset to show off this beautiful rose.
