I like this! Its different and refreshing! I like the heart and the little gnome guy (I think that's a gnome, I'm not well versed in wee folk types). It is so cute!

LOL! I like this! I can count on you to show something very different. I always wonder what will I see with your name on it. I like the little elf and the neat background.

That was a thoughtful gift and now it looks like a beautiful valentine. Love the little elf hanging on. Very nice photograph with a great background. Nicely done, Annie.

Very nice photo and your mixed media additions worked out well for this. Fractal was a nice creative touch and I like it. Colors make it pop and lighting effects are great. Well done.

It's a very pretty tree but what I like most about it is the extra added touches. The background swirl is very interested as well as the little personal touches.

You did a fantastic job capture this bonsai that your son purchased for you! Adding the heart and the child hangin on to the pot adds character to this photo!
You did a great job with the background so that he bonsai was the subject!
Thanks for sharing!

It looks indeed like a tree.
I like the pot it grows in and the little pixie hanging on it. This is not only spring in the middle of winter, but a fairy tale as well. This is a real tread for the viewer and very intriguing. The tree, pot and pixie are sharp in detail and well lighted. The replaced background emphasizes the still life well.

I like how you added the heart and the child figurine hanging on the pot. It seems perfect to go on a gift from your son. The flower is very pretty, and your background has lovely light and textures that coordinate well with the plant. I think the lighting on the flower is also very flattering to the colors.

It's a bonsai azalea cultured to grow in proportion to the height of the pot.
The rule of the thumb is that the vase should be 1/6 of the height of the tree--but as long as it looks great you can break that rule!
I'm tempted to prune that awkwardly cascading branch!
Verdant overtone is visually soothing.
The contrasting reds accentuated this image nicely.
Tall format works well.
Controlled illumination.
