A beautiful image that looks to me like a sure winner in this contest. The composition is exquisite and the colors could not be better. Best of luck in the voting.

An interesting description of this imprisoned head. The focus is excellent. The envelopement on the right looks very tender, as if the tree really wanted to protect the head. Nice find.

Those are some huge tree roots that have entwined the Buddah's head. It's a unique capture. The head appears to be encased in the roots tightly. The focus is good and lighting is excellent.

The smiling face of the Buddha surrounded by those massive roots is an impressive and breath taking sight. It is evident that the got cleaned. Marks above the had and on the right side of the face suggest that roots were cut partly away. The photo is especially well focused, has good dept and shows crisp and clear detail throughout. The colors look realistic-natural.
Those are fascinating stories in your comments. Thank you for the information.

You have captured the age and strength of this tree so well. There is a history evident in the photo. It looks as if the root is hugging the Buddha. Great clean and clear lines

Very interesting! I like the unusual nature of this sight. I think this is a great out of the box image for the framed contest. The exposure is good, natural color and good detail.
