What I like about this piece is the palette you have used.The colours are glorious,bright and clear.For me however the presentation lacks depth and appears too flat and for the reason of my marking down ,however I'm sure your daughter will appreciate your gift and give her fond memories of her visit to scotland

Basically there is no depth to the picture,lacking light to dark tones or shadows which would subsequently give this picture depth if these were to be introduced.There is a lot of light in the sky which would subsequently cast shadows somewhere in the painting

I did what I saw in the photo, its not like I was there in person, I see no shadows,,it is just my interpretation anyway

This is great! Sometimes nothing can compare to actual eyes as the best way to view art. So it's no surprise that it looks better in person. It still looks good here as well.

thank you,,it looks really nice framed but I couldn't put that up here cause I signed it lol
