I am a huge cat lover myself. So sweet she is. Love her markings. Nice brushwork. I do wish there was tiny more dark shading under her just to help her stand out from the background a bit more. But she's beautiful.

You have a very unique style of painting, and I love the way you have positioned the two cats. Their coloring is also very good with the shading in their hair done so nicely. As a cat lover I am very taken with your painting.

Nicely done. I does look like a heart on her back. The cat's fur is well painted showing the texture. Good colors that show up well on the gray background. Good luck with the contest.

I like the creativity you show here in creating two views of your beautiful black and white cat , I love the hearts on her back and her facial markings too! Both poses show a relaxed snowpuss, nice detail, good texture of her fur, well arranged to present both views in one piece. Well presented!

it took me a minute to understand the dual position thing, but this is excellent. i love the realistic fur (something i'm working on getting :D ) and the expression on her face. i'm very sorry you lost your kitties, but i'm sure they all knew how cherished they were

Happy you understood the positioning a couple didn't totally understand but most did. Your review s great thank you. Keep going with the fur trials I used to watch you tube a lot to get tips.

This is really cool, Brenda. I love the way you displayed the heart markings. I am having a tiny bit of trouble on the positioning of the left drawing. Perhaps maybe make the body a tad bit bigger in proportion to the head? But over all, this is much better than I can do with pastels and charcoal. Great job!

Thank you ... you comments are helpful and appreciated. She never moved her position when I moved mine to see her back. Perhaps it's the way she is balanced on the back of the couch.

I'm having trouble figuring out what I am seeing. I think it two pictures of the same cat, but one is turned around. I like the background you chose for this photo. I see the heart you were talking about. It is just hard to see.

Thank you for your review it is much appreciated. I am sorry the painting confused you. The right painting of her is a side view as she sat on the back of the couch, whilst the painting on the left is a view of her from the back whilst still in the same position. It was a bit of a quirky idea i had to show her markings.

Cool,Brenda!
She was obviously a real Cutie of a cat,my friend, and your attractive 'dual' portrait of her in pastel is very enjoyable to see!
It makes for a really 'Good Show',my friend! : )
