black horses rule the world! not an observation but a true statement of intent. you have captured that incredible equine essence daphne. an understanding of the natural, nature aspect and the magic it provides. the background is night but still alive, with many creatures appearing whilst we sleep (in la la land). i also love the white, it's like balanced in a yin and yang sign, so you represent or reflect the harmony throughout the frame. just loving horses that have natural 'white socks'. it makes them appear even more fleet-footed and agile. the swerves and curves in the body/neck really makes it pop. reminds me of a race horse called monjour, who looked like he was just floating along and a delightful action that required good ground.

The lyrics are lovely. I think your horse is also very nice. I like the dual tones of color and the gradient effect that adds an appearance of light through his body. I think the white front legs, mane and tail support the spiritual impression nicely.

Welcome "horse person" and thanks so much for your vote of confidence. I periodically get some of the wildest feedback from none horse people -- the strangest gave me a poor review for my horse figure, Aureo, not having all four feet on the ground -- and this is a respected photographer. She suggested it was inhumane for him not to be depicted with all his feet on the ground. I don't mind some poor reviews from time to time, but reasons like that are beyond me! If you have a horse photo you would like improved, I will see what I can do, but out of focus or poor resolution pics don't offer much promise. My email is daphneoberon@gmail.com.
