Beautifully captured image of this heron drying it's wings,it looks as though it is doing yoga.Focus is sharp,esp. the eye,as well as in the feathers. The diffused green background sets off this heron well.Such a gorgeous photo,many thanks for sharing this!

Thank you, SG. I like yours better - I thought the focus on mine was a bit soft. It was my first shot of the morning and I think there was some condensation at work. Yours, on the other hand is perfectly sharp and very beautiful.

This is an excellent capture of the 'yoga' pose :) The details of his features stand out well and the angle is attractive. It's such an interesting way for them to dry their wings and warm themselves. I would like to see this in person one day! This is one thing that the we do have in the States, lol!
