He looks angry that you have caught him at his personal moment of grooming or bothered him at all.
Good thing he is not a treat.
He doesn't realize that we as humans are intrigued by his beauty and mean him no harm.

I don't think people on Far realize just how difficult it is to shoot through thick smudge zoo glass in order to get shots like you have here. The eyes are superb, the look back at you, the clarity, fur details and the challenge of low light are all handled well.
This is a superb capture Greenie!!

Beautiful shot, Gracie. He does not look all that happy to be having his picture taken. :) Your focus on the face is so nice, especially with a good DOF to provide a soft background and outline. Your light management in what looks like low light is really well done. Very pleasing to view.

He is a very beautiful cat. His colors resemble his background rather nicely and I imagine is how they survive in the wild from their predators. You have captured his curiosity and wild animal feel very nicely.

Thank you! Living in the city suburbs of Minnesota, the zoo is about the only place I get to see wild kitties. I have seen a couple of coyotes over the years in neighborhoods though.
