This is an beautiful and interesting capture. The early morning twilight is intriguing. The viewer has the feel of looking at the landscape on a frosty winter day after recent snowfall. The photo has perfect depth and is throughout sharp. I like the deep angle of the shot and the view from the left over the fence to the cabin. The cabin and the fence are especial intriguing beneath the pristine snow cover. Cabin and fence are well placed into the frame. The photo is balanced.

Stunning shot, when I first looked at it I thought it was tilting slightly towards the left and was going to suggest straightening the picture but on looking closer I can see the tree to the right is very upright and the tilt must be how the landscape sits. Beautiful focus and depth of field, nicely presented. Thank you for sharing.

Your notes say that you were fortunate to see some snow at cabins. But being a part of the North regions we would be lucky and fortunate to see less snow during the winter. Your photo shows a good debth and nice composition.

Jack,
A beautiful & very peaceful scene at Cades Cove with the cabin in the forest clearing, it's roof snow covered & the ground under a carpet of glowing new snow soon to be covered with foot prints of creatures great & small, feathered with clawed feet, fur covered with soft padded paws & two legged humans in Boots. Beautiful atmospheric composition, framing & soft natural lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Well done. Great composition and it truly evokes feelings of winter and isolation. Lighting is great with sufficient detail in the snow. Light and dark scenes like this can be difficult to get right and you did an excellent job.

I really like this one Jack. I know where this one is. We live in Morristown about 45 minutes from the park depending on traffic in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. We love Cades Cove for all the reasons you described.
This is a great scene with the snow on the rail fence and cabin roof. Great POV for this one Jack. Hope you make it back soon ~ Steve

White balance for the snow is bang on.
I like the fence, the rock and especially how the light illuminates the snow covered trees.
