What a lovely entry for this contest. Very artistic. It "feels" cold. Love the placement of the cabin in the frame. It really draws the eye into the scene. Your white balance and light is well managed. The soft muted colors provides a great deal of feeling to the image. Best of luck in the contest.

I am happy to be able to give you 6 starts for this today. WOW. Shows the overcast gray day but at the same time the lovely place that this little cabin is located. Wonderful colors of the trees and snow. Frame able for sure.

I think the lack of colour adds to the bleakness in this photo,sort of place away from the reality of life in general,think even if it was in b/w would not have improved this one,good one...Brian

This is a beautiful winter scene , I love that it's a cabin in the woods! This is very well composed with a nice placement of the cabin up n back to the right, I love the snow covered roof and the little front porch on front of the cabin. The wooden fence on the left looks beautiful with the covering of snow. The trees surrounding the cabin look amazing with the snow clinging to their branches. This is well photographed with good focus, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural , beautiful white balance too! Well presented! This is beautiful work Jack!
