Good focus on the bird and the limb it is perched on. The background is pleasantly blurred. I think that cropping on the right and the left hand side of this image would draw ones attention more to the cardinal. Nice capture.

this is already a pretty good photo, but i think it would be a great photo if you were to crop it so that the bird were much larger and truly centred. if it were larger, more detail could be seen, but it's still a good photo :) good luck in the contest
