Congratulations on your second placing in the contest. This is such an exciting piece of art. Bursting with color and design, and a perfect specimen of a snail. All work together for a fun piece.

I like that you create miniature art works. The design of your snail's shell is very nice and the textures you have achieved on your cotton and the buds are also really attractive. The colors in the background compliment the subject nicely.

You remind me of a humorous lady artist who creates colorful miniature artworks like this!

Good details.
Superb up close & personal.
Verdant overtone!
Diffused focusing.
Can we still enhance clarity & sharpness?!?

Good features and textures.

Tall format showcase this artwork nicely.

Thanks for sharing...

Thank you for a great review and i love your remarks! I had a go at defining more sharpness. It worked minimal. I think the problem is ... The original is 2.5 x 3 ins and is sharp but on uploading the image is enlarged hence the blurred lines. I took the larger image when trying to sharpen. Was not a lot of difference but thanks for your suggestion.. it's all part of the learning curve.

This must be very challenging to do a macro art piece. I thought of that when I saw the contest. I'm not familiar with the island snail. Looks like tenticals with cotton balls on the end. I dont know if that is part of the snail? Although it is the same color as the green plant. I like the style of you work. Impressionism, I guess? Good job, and good luck.

Thank you for reviewing and rating. The snail is in the centre like a small brown ball lol. This is what I call my miniature art. It's done on card 3.5 x 5 ins and glazed.

Well created snail on the plant stick and the plant too, I like the flowers in white with yellow centers and the supporting greenery, the lighter green tones in the background and the little snail . This shows your attention to the detail and that is appreciated here, well presented, best wishes to you in the contest!
