The very idea of shooting a hawk on a wire is like fishing in a barrel, however all the hawks I've seen like this would fly when I got close so I know it is not as easy as some might think. The detail is very good and I love the blue sky!

Thank you, Willie - that was my one regret. If it hadn't been a pair, I wouldn't have bothered.

This is simply gorgeous! You are very good at being in the right place at the right time. Your title works great in making this pose so much more endearing. The sharp details are a treat to view.

Lovely birds and the colors are so true to life. The detail and focus of the birds with the nicely blurred background. This is very well framed.

The two of them look so lovely together. Almost like turtle doves, and the title is indeed apt, because if I did not know better, I would say that the way the female looks at her mate, it must be true love. The lovely blue sky offers a perfect background, and the two birds are standing out from it in an excellent way.

Your photo is nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in both birds, and the exposure is spot on. This has brought out the fine high light in their eyes.

I also think the format and framing is working well, and the bird have got a fine placement off to the left. A truly beautiful and well taken photo Robert, and with an excellent DOF.

Wow I love it! Your caption is perfect for these two admiring love birds.
Excellent detail and clarity.
Amazing focus and interest.
I love the crisp blue sky as the back drop.
You have captured amazing facial expressions on both.
A rare feat in itself let alone two at once. Thus the reason for the 6 star rating.
Picture perfect. Would make a great romance greeting card.

A beautiful pair of hawks and a very nicely composed shot of them. The detail in their plumage is excellent and their interaction is excellent. I wish they weren't on that wire though.

Your detail and eye clarity is fantastic, what a wonderful scene. You have titled it perfectly as the eyes are what really drew me in. So emotional looking.
