I recognize your wonderful work. So classic and distinctly unique.

The horse is wonderfully done with a great pose and coloring.

The surrounds and background really highlight the main subject.

I will be viewing the video today. Great work. Off to a Great start in 2020 ~ Steve

Thank you very much, Steve! I hope you are feeling/doing okay. When you watch the horse video, the same vocalist, (a long time English friend of mine,) also put music to some of my lyrics just on a cell phone. This was the first time ever she composed and sung this lament about the genocide in Guatemala. Much of it has been to get land away from the farmers and Indians in Guatemala, of which country I am a citizen (I was born in USA, also British Citizen as my father was British... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFXjf00-rxQ Also, here is the other video again but this was done in a studio and the lyrics are hers, not mine.....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_zrqXAxO2o

Nothing better than seeing a horse free galloping along the wet sand during the Golden hour of sunset.
I like the sun rays and Reflections of them you created here.
Nice work Daphne ;)

Hi, Daphne. This is very whimsical. Great choice of the black horse and white tail/ feet. Nice contrast. The abstract background is nice with the sunset and water. Or maybe the horse is dark blue. I would have put a hint of a right eye on the tip of the right side of his head. Not a whole one, but a partial. A hint of the white circle around his eye. Thank you for sharing

Ah good point; funny about the eye, I had a hint of one once but sometimes small grouped details drop to a back layer and I did not notice. It's like the change and jewelry that falls behind your sofa cushions. lol. In the video nobody will probably notice, but I will fix this now and re-post. Thanks so much for pointing this out!

I am in awe about this creation - super attractive , fantastic in initial impact - the position of the horse and its mood are jumping out in purity and liberty plus freedom - such a peaceful energy with the blessing of a radiant sun - your detail work again is striking in perfection and the color choice could not be better - breath taking - thanks for sharing your art - Happy new year

I love horses!! I grew up in the city of Cincinnati. There is a park called Winton Woods that gave riding lessons. Those were really good times. Your horse is beautiful. I love the contrast of colors with the body and the mane and tail. I live near Lexington, Kentucky and have gone to see American Pharoah and Justify, both Triple Crown winners in Thoroughbred racing. What a pleasure. I want to go back again. Love your creation.

Thank you so much! Yes you are the thoroughbred icon lady! The book is here at this website link and on Amazon, at some Barnes and Noble bookstores and on line and a few other places. http://booksbyvictoriaauberon.com/

I love to read!! I will check it out. Also, American Pharoah and Justify are back in America. They go to Australia during our off season for breeding. All thoroughbred horses age 1 year on Jan. 1. So, if a horse was born on December 30, on Jan 1 the horse will turn 1 year old even thought it is actually 1 day old. I scheduled another visit to Coolmore farms in Lexington. When it is really cold outside you don't get to see them as long as when it is warmer, so I chose a date in April. Fingers crossed it won't be a cold day.

Great colors, a lot of elan and very nice composition. The radiant rays from the sun add a nice touch against the complementary colors. Horse and the entire image have a lot of elan and the image has a lot of immediate eye appeal. Great creativity. Nice job.

Thank you so very much! I recall voting for your macro spiders -- I think that was you. The book is here at this website link and on Amazon, at some Barnes and Noble bookstores and on line and a few other places. http://booksbyvictoriaauberon.com/ I decided to use a different fiction name to differentiate between my nonfiction work when that sees the light of day.

You are very welcome - a very nice image.

This is another nice one. I like the way the Sun's rays break up the composition. Maybe a variety of tones in between the lines on the water would make for a nice variation.

Thank you most kindly! Yes I tried to do that but could not get it to work. Using the sky refection made it all too much the same. How would you do it?
