This is gorgeous, and fortunately there are still berries left. The blue sky sets off the whole photograph, beautiful coloured tail feathers.
You have a really fantastic camera I think, to pick up those berries so clearly, and you do a wonderful job with them. Not a one isn't postcard quality.

It is a great shot. I love the colors in the photo as well as the colors on the bird. It is well focused. The berries pop in the picture and catches the eye I think first. Thank you for sharing

Excellent capture of this beautiful little bird eating the bright red berries, Pat. I love the pose you caught as it bends over to reach the berries. Very good lighting and focus showing a lovely crisp image. Great composition. Suzanne

What a terrific capture of the bird. I never have any luck photographing birds. This one is gorgeous and you showed us all of the pretty details of its face and beak. I love the color of the back ground . It blends well with the feathers. Thank you for the notes on their migrating habits. I bet it is spectacular to see a group of them at one time. This is so pretty, Pat. Just beautiful.

I have never seen the birds in nature, but the berries tell me that the colors are realistic. The photo is well focused. The details are nicely defined. The removal of distractions is seamless. I wouldn't know there were some. The bird is well emphasized by the sky-blue background. The photo is balanced and adequately framed.

Striking bluish gray under belly. with brownish gray upper body feathers, and splash of red, before his black encapsulated beak. His cap coincides, beautifully, with his wing. His red and yellow tail .dipped below the branch, is at the same angle as his berries. The blue background, with the shadow reflections,is lovely.

Joanna Bachman

You are very good at capturing these creatures doing what they do naturally., Love the colors especially the blue of the background and the red berries.
