Wow he really pops against the green and the snow. Interesting how dark the green is at the top. Maybe the snow is making it look that way.

What a gorgeous capture of this little fella!! I love everything about this piece - the snow coming down softly in the background, the wonderful focus of this magnificent Cardinal sitting on a branch. You captured the beauty of this bird perfectly. The Cardinal stands out like a jewel of nature from its cold environment. I like that I can actually see the snowflakes falling down due to the excellent depth and the defined details. The photo is also well framed and balanced and I appreciate the realistic colors.

This is lovely. I like how the falling snowflakes look with the greenery and the rich red coloring of the cardinal. The lighting on his face almost look like you used a flash. The features are sharp and attractive.

What a great portrait of this very handsome fellow. The focus is sharp with good details in the feathers. The glint in his eye and the reflection off his beak is a wonderful added bonus.
Composition is spot on and placement in the frame is just right.

This is a lovely image of a very beautiful bird. The color is captured very nicely. The greenery around him with a little bit of snow on the branches makes for a very nice canvas. Added bonus that you captured some falling snow. Nice! Good luck in the contest.
