These are some of my favorite things in nature. You have done an excellent job in showing off their delicate texture and beautiful detail. I also really like how you captured light between the tiny strands of silvery hairs.

Beautiful capture of the Willow Catkins and your post-processing is always done with finesse and thought. Very well photographed with beautiful lighting, spot on sharp focus revealing good details and intricate details on the catkins. Nice how the branch adds contrast and a diagonal to your shot. Your play with light and shadows is perfect as well. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

amazing focus ! I love how clear and crisp all of the details are on the goslings. I love how the goslings are the main focus and I love how much detail you were able to see on them

Bravo! I absolutely love this! I have always thought of this as a pussy willow. I have never heard of goslings. It must be two different species. Anyhow This looks great and it was a pleasure to view!

Thank you so very much for the lovely review Willie, and for all the stars. It is a pussy willow, but in Norway we have given them the nick name gosling-

Very nice shot. Nicely focused, allowing sharp color and details. The lighting is perfect, casting a lighter softer hue around the edges of the goslings. Much like a halo. And the yellow nest it sits in that when disrupted causes one's allergies to stir up. I can make out many details of the limb as well. Very nice shot.

Nice photograph, Annie. The soft browns in the limb and the background really set off the white and yellow of the catkins. Wonderful composition as well with the diagonal branch splitting the pods.

The visual impact is very good, the color works very well in this image. I especially like the lighting with emphasizes the left edge of the branch and the left hand catkin. Focus is tack sharp were it needs to be, Good use of the rule of thirds. Very well done.

Strange how even the most basic subject can be interesting if taken right and given the right light, this is quite a nice shot of this subject, might crop a tad off the top in this though..Brian
