a cyber six Barbara for this unusual and wonderful capture of the Canada goose flying during a snow storm; excellent focus and details despite the huge amount of snowflakes.

A very nice nature photo presented here! Looks like you braved some bad weather conditions to get this good shot. Your fine composition captures a nice flying moment and provides us with a enjoyable look at your location. Where in world is it? Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

Thank you so much for the great review! I took this photo in a park near my home in northern Illinois. The park has a creek running through it which attracts geese, ducks, and sometime herons.

Nice capture of the Canadian goose as he flys over the landscape. Looks like a snowy day and probably very cold out. Good focus even through the snow and lighting is good even under the circumstances.

Really nice winter scene, Barbara, of this Canada goose trying to find its way through the snow. Every thing about this picture says winter. Would have made a really great contest entry. Just beautiful!

Interesting image. I like the use of the rule of thirds, and the fact that you gave the bird room to fly. The image seems monochromatic. That seems to be a good choice. The snow gives this image a grainy feeling like an old 35 mm B&W. The background is appropriately out of focus sufficiently enough as to give this image depth. Well done.

Thank you for reviewing my photo Dan! I noticed you gave my photo 41/2 stars instead of 5, but you didn't say what you think could be improved.

My bad, Although technically your image checks off a number of the important boxes. The one box that was not checked off for me.was that of initial impact. That being said remember that no matter what a reviewer says, if you like the photograph that is all that matters. I have been a judge and been judged and more times than I can count, when I think I have an wonderful image there is someone that doesn't see the image like I did. It goes with the territory. Barbara just keep taking good images like the above and you will be in good company.

A pleasant monochromatic scene you have captured of this Canada goose taking flight during a snowstorm. Love the varying tones of gray and white. Very well composed,it is an excellent capture!

This is wonderful the way you have captured the goose flying thru the heavy snow. I like the way the front tree is a bit dark but everything else fade into the background and into the snow storm

I like the frosted fog like look the falling snow offered. It has a fine monochromatic tone, great focus, fine details, controlled white balance and the goose in flight is the cherry on top of this snowy sunday.
Nice work Barbara ;)

Very nicely done Barbara. I like how the snow is so thick that it almost obscures the Goose.

This really tells a story of real life in nature and gives us a glimpse into the many hardships that shows why Gees fly South for the Winter.

Really well done Barbara ~ Steve
