I like the motion this composition implies. The flower seems to dance in the wind which blows from the right. Some of her petals seem flattened against her, but the flower won't break, not even bend.
The white is perfect presented without any blow out. The petals show crisp details. The Tulip is beautifully enhanced by the textured background in accommodating shades of color. The composition is also exquisitely balanced and framed.

The white tulip and it's stem are well seen with some darkening at the tight center and I feel that an angle focusing more on the natural color variation of the flower would have been more interesting, since your subject is about your white tulip. You describe your white tulip as having shiny petals, yet I'm distracted by the shiny iridescent overlay (or blending of 2 pictures) of various different kinds of leaves not indigenous to a tulip and other embossed rounded object with hue removed/changed to white and iridescent effect under the otherwise lovely tulip. But the shiny display under the tulip takes away from your main subject and unfortunately creates a busy distraction.

This is a great picture of a tulip. Love the image and positioning of this. The shaded and unique background allows the tulip to be viewed in the center. It brings the image of the tulip to the forefront. Great piece.

And they are very photogenic also, Annie. Lovely soft exposure of the whites and the very subtle green in the base. It looks almost like frost crystals surrounding them. A very beautiful photograph.

Stunning visual impact with a tack sharp detail of the tulips petals. The shallow depth of field provides depth to the image. Good use of the rule of thirds. the stem allows leads the eye to the flower. wonderful use of lighting to enhance the overall image. Well done.
