This is indeed a great entry into this contest, and especially the stop action is really good. It is also lovely the way the light is falling on the bird, and it is standing out from the blue sky in an excellent way.
Your photo is pin sharp and it is such clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the bird, and the exposure is very good.
The tight cropping and format works well, and the bird has got a good placement within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo with a good DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.

perfect entry for the sated competition, really amazing capture in a clear, clarity exposure. so sharp. a really great angle and the way the gull is in that spread eagled landing position. fantastic really.

Nice stop of the action as this gull is coming in to land . This is a well photographed image with good focus ,the image is clear, the white feathers show good detail , nice view of its eye. The clipped wing takes away from the impact , I wish you had managed to get it all in ! Otherwise, this is a great shot and a good entry for the contest too!

Good close-up of the seagull. He looks determined as he is about to swoop down on something. Well focused and lighting is good. Blue sky really makes him stand out well.

Considering everyone is moving in this shot, it is incredibly sharp. What great timing. The wings and tail at rutter spread. Legs down and feet ready to land. You can see the sharpness in his eyes. The concentration of his face is so sharp. Beautiful blue sky. Great shot.
