What an interesting story behind this image. You have a great eye for composition. The framing of the curving shapes of the landscape and shoreline is nice and provides a good sense of depth and distance. Your angle also seems to make the best use of the light.

such a lovely photo. and is great you included a figure, as many would have chosen not to do. but it serves as a great scale indicator. it is such a grand view, with a beautiful, natural colour.

This really is a great shot and very informative info to go along with it. This could be in several of the contests, ; Seascape, Landscape, Nature. I can see how when the tide comes in, a dog or human could get trapped against the cliff's edge. Great detailed shot. Lighting excellent. Story telling excellent. If one could see Jolly running his way, you wouldnt need the notes, one would know that he is calling for his dog who is off exploring the oceanside sites and smells. I've had to do it a million times. But dogs love beaches, lakes, rivers. I really enjoy looking at this and keep thinking what a great oil painting it would make also. And a good jigsaw puzzle. I'm going to change this from a 5 to a 6. Thanks for sharing.

I really like your angle of shot and the way you have captured the motion of the incoming waves, this is a nice perspectve looking out from above, this is well focused, the image is clear, exposure is well managed, the colors and tones are natural. Nice contrasting colors and good show of the textures here,the man gives scale and brings life to this scene. Well composed and presented!
