I find these wee Robin's to be so cute. Never saw one except in photos. This one taking a bath all fluffed up is sweet. I like the fence reflections in the water as well as the birds.
Nice find and capture Fred.

This is a cute photo of your sweet robin taking a bath,it's feather's ruffled,it's tail fanned out on top of the water behind it.Nice reflection and capture of the catchlight init's eye.Colors appear natural, focus is excellent.I kinda like the distorted reflection of the fence,it shows movement in the water and additional interest-but that's just me. Your robins are so adorable,I really enjoy viewing them!

I disagree I think the reflection of the fence has the bird in a virtual cage. The subject is positioned between the reflections and in this case I believe adds to the image. The bird is tack sharp! You even caught water on the robin's tail feathers. Good use of the rule of thirds. Well done.

Gorgeous color and wonderful pose you caught him in, SG. I'm sure Susan will be happy and not mind the fence. I've enjoyed her pictures of these guys as well. Nice job.

I actually like the look of the fence reflecting in the water. It give it more of a feel of motion to go along with the ruffled look of the little bird bathing. It's nice.

I don't think the fence is too distracting since you captured such great detail of the bird. The colors are rich and attractive and his little pose is so cute. I like the differences in your robins versus the ones we have here. The fluffed up feathers and the fanned tail are great too.

the robin is adorable and I don't mind the fence reflection. It just gives it more character. I haven't seen anything from Susan in my review list. Is she still on this sight? Very nice details in her feathers. The reflection is awesome. Terrific lighting and focus. You have captured a gem of a photo. Excellent.
