A beautiful bird and an equally fine shot. I like the way the wings are reaching for the water and the great color of his breast. Very sharp eye but both the concrete background and the reflected fence could be better.

I kinda like the reflection. I dont think it throws anything off. I can still see the ripples in the water that Mr. Robin is causing by his fluttering about. You caught this guy at a time when he's got his wings pulled forward, to splash water about. Nice focusing with lovely colors and detail. I can see his eye as he looks around to assure himself privacy during bath time. Thanks for sharing.

Fred,
First tanks for the Dedication of this Robin to Me! A fantastic stop action picture of this little Robin taking a bath in your Bird Bath on which it's also reflected water droplets like Diamonds sparkling on it's head & tail, The reflected fence does not take away from the image. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A quite lovely nature shot posted here! Thought it was the male robins that have the red brest? Your fine classical composition gives us a very enjoyable look at robin bath time. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!
