Very nice portrait of this feathered bandit, the blue tones are very well capture. He seems to have almost a pensive look on it's face,as though he is deep in thought. Wish mine would stay put long enough for photos-lol!

Great close up portrait of this Blue Jay! I like how you captured so much detail in the feathers. Great light and a nice catch light in the eye. Lovely colors.

Great detail and different colors of blue. This is very nicely framed. I think a bit of cleanup in the brown area would probably keep the eye on the bird better.

Great shot! You capture all the detail of the blue jay's feathers. Your shot feels cold! Thank you for your detailed lesson about blue jays and their eating habits.

I like to know what you feed/BRIBE your birds with?
Suprised you didn't use 65,000 shutter? Your Tonka and skill behind your lens are too good for me. Gonna have get a Tonka now just for moon shots!
Superb close up, excellent eye clarity, fine focus and great color and fab white balance control.
BEAUTIFUL capture Monty MIB!!

Thank you Sange! I might just have to think of something to bribe the birds with so they will give me more quirky poses.

A wonderful profile portrait of this Blue Jay watching you closely . The light showing off the beautiful colours of it's plumage. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

A very nice portrait. I like the detail in the plumage and the sharp eye. The composition is great and the colors are look particularly good against that background.

Thank you very much! I'm glad you appreciate the notes too. I try to make them interesting while trying not to go on too much with them, some subjects are easier than others. :)
