Pippen is adorable. I love the tufts of hair on his ears that gives him lots of personality. Beautiful colors too. He really stand out well against th dark background. Good luck in the contest.

What a great commentary Eileen.I know what it is like losing a family pet. It is like losing a family member in many ways.

What a miracle it is that little Pippin came along. Just at the right time, with the right personality and obviously Very Handsome looks.

For being so small it is amazing how strong he is. He is able to Pull so many people UP and OUT of a sad and depressed place and pull the dark curtains aside to allow the Light to re enter and bathe everyone with Love and warmth.

I hope you are doing better and you no doubt will be back more Spiritually Aware than ever ~ Steve

What an adorable portrait of Pippin .....love those eyes, those ears and that adorable face. A gorgeous capture and close up ...also I like the expression and emotions captured in your photography. Nice is your dark background complimenting that cute little face. Your lighting, focus, details all incredible. So sorry about Pumpkin Spice. Your play with light and shadows captures
Pippin's personality! Outstanding shot and good contender for the contest. Good luck. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, her expression does look somewhat sad. Your fine full and central composition gives us an enjoyable look at your pet. Like the wonderful detail that your settings have provided. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!

This is a cute little thing! He looks like he is a small little guy. Those ears are just too much! I like how the effects you used have accentuated the texture of his fur. Glad he has come along to fill the void!

I love what you've done with this shot of your sister's new little pup, Eileen, and I'm glad to hear that Pippin has helped you all after your sad loss. He looks a cute little character. Excellent lighting and focus showing a beautifully crisp image. The black background works really well to show him off perfectly. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Eileen,
A beautiful picture of your sister's tiny Puppy Pippin who despite his size methinks he is ruling the roost with his appealing looks & ears that seem too big (But for him are just right) Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good luck in the contest.

Pippin is a truly sweet dog, and with a very sweet name. Not strange at all that everybody love him. It is nice with the all dark background, because it makes the dog stand out in an excellent way.

Your photo is nice and sharp showing such clear and well defined details, and the exposure is spot on.

The format you have cropped the photo into is perfect, and so is the placement of Pippin within the frame. Indeed a lovely and well taken photo, and I wish you luck with the contest.

If I had a six you would get it for this portrait and also for the story to go with it.
I predict a winner in the contest. That is just such a beautiful dog and a gorgeous photograph, Eileen.
