Your notes on the temple explained a lot about it. Thanks for that. The architecture is very unusual. Lots of high towers showing. It looks as though it was either foggy or smoggy that day, as the distant landscape is faded out.

A beautiful & interesting picture of Angkor Wat seen from the air, letting us see it's vast size & situation surrounded by forest the people walking along the bridge give us a sense of scale. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus despite the heat haze.

A great shot from the air taking in all of Angkor Wat.
Looks quite misty or foggy, yet the whole of the temple and area can be seen.
I have been there...it is a very impressive and huge place to walk around.
Composition is well balanced. Thanks for sharing.

nomination. Fascinating architecture. Now I'm seeing the reflection of trees on water, that I didnt see before. There is no mention of the reason for the haze in the sky that casts a diffuse hazy appearance on this city. Fog? Smog? No mention of how you took this pic from the air. Is the air quality always hazy like this? Was it due to the time of day, temperature vs water canal? I really would have liked more info as to how this pic was taken and a comment about the haze. But when I enlarge the photo I can see the temple, but not real clear.
