This is a lovely work of art. I love your technique in Megan's grandma's dogs fur.

I like the textured feel of the piece. I also like the highlights you created on the dog. The folds of fur you captured well. He kindof jumps out of this since you softened the background. Clever!

Lucien, welcome back. I just came back after a few years. I really love your colored sketch. It looks like a photo. I have a black lab. They are extremely special dogs, and you really captured that here in Megan's dog. My 82 year old dad is visiting, and I showed him this color pencil sketch. He smiled at the loving look of this lab and was also surprised it wasn't a photo. If I had an extra star, I'd give it to you. Just looking at your drawing, and enjoying this dog's expression, makes me want to reach out and scratch those ears, stroke his/her roly poly neck. I look forward to your next work.
