a well captured image of the three wise monkeys. I especially like the light captured on the figures which really high lights their expressions, nice muted back ground, the topaz lens effect haas worked well on this. eye catching image.

These guys are very cute! The history behind them is also very interesting. I like how the light falls on the monkeys. The feathers in the background have a nice color and design that coordinate well with the monkeys. I like the way you developed your textures and colors in the background too, much like a painting.

It is interesting how these ancient and wise symbols appear to have been lost in these times.
In fact, for each almost the Opposite is true. With social media and web sites, it appears people now Look for evil to talk about, Listen to every word of gossip and then Repeat it to all who will listen.
How refreshing it would be to return to those Wiser Ways. Perhaps it starts with us.

This is Fantastic! I have a collection of monkeys and they do this as well. Mine are not statues but from gumball machines.
Frank got me the the tiny version in a barrel of Monkeys!

Nice photo, Annie. Have seen the three monkeys many times and did not know the story behind them. I knew what it represented but not where it originated. Any significance to the feathers or just part of the exhibit?
